The Hush Sound of Snow Ch. 2I awoke three days later. My thoughts were scrambled, my vision was once again blurred, and I immediately felt dizzy and was almost sick. I turned out that I was in the hospital. The alarms above my bed went off, signaling the nurses and doctors that I had finally awoken. The alarms pierced my eardrums because they were so loud and obnoxious. Two nurses rushed into the room to check the heart monitor screen to my left. One of them finally switched the alarms off and turned to me.
"Good evening, sir," The first nurse said.
"Evening?" I asked, still dazed and confused.

Some people may think they don't hear anything, but to me, each snowflake that falls is like a little flute. All of the dancing crystals come together to form a symphony. I made them out of fondant. its like an edible sugar dough. :) hope this helps!
